  • Now, fasten the torsion tube with the help of cable ties or clips.
  • The old spring should be removed now. Unscrew the set screws holding the old spring in place to remove it. After loosening the screws, you can pull the spring out.

  • On the shaft, place the left spring. It is recommended that the coil is oriented downward. Garage doors should have the hook end of the spring on top.
